Check your mandatory field settings

Form fields can be set to mandatory or optional, depending on your requirements.

To check the mandatory field settings you will need to go to Form Manager > Click on the cog next to the form > Form Builder > Click on ‘Edit’ next to a field > Mandatory settings. Here you can check the mandatory setting of each field.

Settings:

  • Optional - This field will be optional and can be left blank.

  • Warning - The user is warned that they have missed a field but can still submit the form.

  • Read Only - The field will appear on the form but cannot be edited.

  • Mandatory - The form cannot be submitted if a mandatory field has been left blank.

  • Mandatory Third Party - Fields can be set to mandatory for a specific third party only.
